Hussein talks to author and journalist Kim Mcintosh about her recent Guardian article about SheaSeven, a Youtuber with a mass following, known for giving out cynical dating advice. Kim talks about how Sheaseven uses her channel to explain how romance should be considered transactional, and the ways in which she believes women should lean into patriarchal standards in order to leverage power against their male partners. Kim explains how Sheaseven's advice should be understood in the context of austerity, and the effects it has had on millennials and Gen Z'ers, and why we must cultivate a culture of caregiving in order to foster and maintain healthier relationships.

Kyle explains how the take-over by platforms in the late Aughts and 2010's expanded the internet's regular audience, and turned users into producers and consumers simultaneously – making the internet a place where you were expected to work, and have fun, at the same time. With no signs of that changing, Kyle explains how he's adopted a more conscious, and selective approach to going online, and how he's returned to tradition through the medium of bootlegged flash games.

And in particular, we talk about a recent video from Max Fosh, an elder millennial British 'prankster' who, like many of his generation, are trying to figure out what's next for their online careers. We discuss the crisis facing older Youtubers through a recent video Fosh put out where he turns Mr Beast's saliva into a cheese, and makes a well meaning, but clearly confused Turophile eat it on camera.

We're joined this week by Beatrice Adler-Bolton, a researcher, artist, co-host of Death Panel, and the co-author of HEALTH COMMUNISM: A Surplus Manifesto.
We talk about the ways 'healthcare' as it is currently provided is directly linked to labor and economic growth, and as a result, dismissing those who cannot participate in work. We also talk about the limits of providing institutional national healthcare, and the ways that new systems of health and care provision can be imagined and devised in post-capitalism.
